Cardtech: Intermediate Laravel/Vue JS Engineer

Cardtech (FaB DB’s parent company) is looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and ambitious engineer who is familiar with the PHP stack, including Laravel and Vue JS.

The project has grown much larger than ever expected, and we’re now in a position to hire our first engineer. 

The successful applicant will be reporting directly to the Managing Director, and be responsible for implementing new features, resolving issues across the various projects, as well as architecting new solutions. 

We’re much more interested in someone with the right attitude and approach rather than someone that ticks all the below boxes, but ideally, you are someone who wants to learn, can progress with lots of self autonomy, and is open to constructive criticism of your work through our code review processes.

The successful applicant will be very comfortable with learning new tools and skillsets, with our various projects using what we consider to be the “best tool for the job”, rather than the same tool for every project. As a result, you’ll be exposed to various different development approaches, software applications and database systems.
